What is bunday productions?

I have been working with computers for many years and can be seen spending many hours a day at my desk working in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Peak and other programs. Much of my time is spent also on the phone giving tech support for Macintosh computers and holding the hands of folks who have lost that important bit of data or whose computer has crashed leaving them with the sense that the world is coming to an end.

The bulk of my time in the last year was spent editing Mr Nassau Bahamas, using Final Cut Pro, the Macintosh video editing program. All my digital video work is shot on my Sony VX 2000 and edited on my G4 computer using Final Cut Pro.
I read everything I can find about technology, the internet, Macintosh computers and digital media and was almost able to escape the word 'geek' but at times it slips out of the mouths of my friends.
My favorite site for FCP and video editing is http://www.2-pop.com/, a place with tons of information about digital editing.

Web design and management has been ongoing for me and the world of digital video is more recent hence the company 'bunday productions'.

This summer will be spent working on 'The Mirror of Race' with Greg Fried. Read more about this on the site.

Having just completed Mr.Nassau Bahamas, a film about my immigrant experience and the stories of other immigrants and people who have left home, I am now starting on a new project called, 'The Outsider', a performance funded many years ago by the Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities about AIDS. At the moment I am pondering and writing about this piece to make it into a film. Other projects include a longer film about 'Home'.

When I'm not working at my computer or reading or writing I'm cooking or choosing wine from my wine cellar.

Technical Information about the film and my home studio.

This film was shot using a Sony VX-1000 and Sony VX-2000 as well as a Cannon GL-1. I own the Sony VX-2000 and the other computers were loaned to me by my friend and camera man Brian Dowley and my brother Philip.

I edited it on a Macintosh G4 400 with two 17inch monitors, and three IBM 60 gig hard drives. For the editing software I use Apple's Final Cut Pro.
I have been editing with FCP for the past year.

Along with FCP I also use Photoshop for still images and titles, Peak and Sound Edit for sound. I also use a G3 Powerbook when I'm on the road.
For web work I use Macromedia's Dreamweaver, Adobe Golive, Fireworks and BBEdit.
